Story

Niokobok approached my product designer partner and I with a challenge: their ambition was to bridge the gap between the Senegalese diaspora and their families back home through a user-friendly mobile application. With the unique dynamics of this market, the goal was to quickly understand the core needs of the users and prioritize features accordingly.

Working closely with a designated designer, our first task was to streamline the product's vision using tools like the lean canvas and pitch elevator. Based in Dakar, our user interviews were conducted remotely. These sessions were pivotal in collecting raw, invaluable data on user needs and market analysis.

Our discoveries paved the way for the creation of high-fidelity mock-ups and defining clear user flows tailored to our identified personas. With UX writing, we crafted a compelling value proposition that resonated deeply with our target audience.
